Blog Post 39// Problems Problems Problems
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us…Ephesians 3:20
Think about this a second:
Regardless of the problem, Jesus is willing and able to solve it.
There isn’t one problem for which God doesn’t already have a solution.
It’s already thought through—the solution, fully prepared.
Sometimes we make the mistake of solely blaming external factors for our problems (the world, sin, the devil, or people).
So long as we live on Earth, there will be problems. No money. More problems. More money, more problems. I solved something but it created more problems. We say:
Nothing we can do. It is what it is.
Everywhere I look, problems. Big. Small. Medium. Tall. Venti.
Do you know what Jesus never says about a problem?
It is what it is. What are we going to do?!?
I believe the mark of Christian maturity is that we are able to define problems differently. Let me explain:
Your problem is not simply your lot in life. It’s an invitation by God to become who you are supposed to be.
It’s an invitation to speak out what you should be speaking about.
It’s an invitation to practice what you are supposed to be practicing as a son or daughter of God.
To you, it’s a problem. To God, it is not. It is far less and far more.
