“It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬

There is power in the proclamation. What we say to each other and what we say to ourselves matters.

My words create or my words destroy. There is no middle there. It’s life or death.

Our words actually invite the attention of two worlds: light or darkness, life or death.

Jesus said it like this: Your words reveal what’s in your heart.

So we have the choice—are we going to echo World Culture or Kingdom Culture? If we allow gossip in, gossip will then spill out. How does that happen?

The words attach to your heart.

Are we echoing the negativity all around us and letting it flow freely? How does that happen?

Something on the inside needs repair.

Consider this post your spiritual echocardiogram. Let’s figure out what we are choosing to allow in and what we are choosing to allow out.

The good news is that there is good news. Whether you have a little heart murmur, some dead tissue, or a blocked artery, Jesus can reverse any curse, bring resolution, supernatural healing, and for some He might even have to whip out the paddles and bring you back to life again. He’s good with that.

Don’t just watch what you say. Watch what your hear, too. It matters.
